Traveling with a passport can sometimes be a tricky situation. Keeping it in a carrier around your neck or waist is convenient but sometimes not enough. Many of these carriers are not waterproof. How many times have you been caught in the rain while sightseeing? How many times have you been just a little damp from the humidity and heat of a tropical island? I find it a great help to first put my passport in a simple zip lock type sandwich bag to keep the moisture out.
